Welcome to Pennsylvania, the second state to ratify the Constitution
and be accepted into the Union of States.
Pennsylvania has a long, rich history of support for independence and
religious tolerance, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is just a small
sample of the depth of that history.
We welcome you to attend the International Meet here in Lancaster on
September 14 through September 20, 2008, and sample its history,
enjoy its food, meet its people, and see the beautiful countryside
surrounding the site of our meet, the Lancaster Host Resort.
As summer fades into fall and Pennsylvania Dutch Country comes alive
with the vibrance of harvest season, it’s a perfect time for
an autumn getaway.
The Keystone Region chapter was formed in 1968 by a small cadre of dedicated
members and has grown through the years to include a stable base
of nearly 400 memberships. We are one of the most active chapters
in SDC and hold monthly meets for our membership as well as Spring
and Fall Tours.
In addition, we promote the Keystone International Swap Meet in York,
Pennsylvania, each year, with admission free to all Studebaker owners.
Our chapter promoted the International Meet in Gettysburg in 1980
and is fortunate to have many of those same members participating
in the planning and promotion of our meet in Lancaster in 2008.
We “Wilkum” you to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, during the week
of September 14-20, 2008. We are offering numerous tours, seminars, a
concours on Thursday the 18th, and something every day for the ladies,
all on site at the Host. Park your car, leave it there for the week,
and enjoy the meet!
Plan now to attend. Reservations are being taken now at The Lancaster
Host at 1-800-233-0121. Be sure to mention the 2008 SDC International
Meet when making your reservation to get the special rate of $99/night
on your room.
