rhusak Posted March 2, 2016 Report Share Posted March 2, 2016 Hi all.. Can anyone tell me if the power steering pump on my 63 automatic Avanti is common with other 289 Studebakers? I mean the whole thing.. Pump, Brackets, Reservoir and Pulley. If so where would you look for one? If not how many of the pieces are? I have had my old one off for a couple of years and am afraid some of the pieces have been mislaid.. Medical stuff in the way.. Thanks in advance for the help.. mfg Posted March 3, 2016 Report Share Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) I would think that any P/S pump from a '58-up Studebaker passenger car (Bendix P/S) with a 259 or 289 V8 engine would fit your Avanti....brackets and all.
