mfg Posted May 29, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 The answer to this question is indeed TRUE!.......Although the Lark rod will fit perfectly, and satisfactorily control the transmission shift points & kickdown, the adjustment swivel cannot be accessed in the confines of the Studebaker Avanti transmission tunnel....The proper Avanti rod has the adjustment swivel on the OPPOSITE END...where it can be easily reached!
