  1. Thank you very much for the replies! It has been a long time and it just doesn't seem like I'm going to put the money into it as much as I would like to. I'm not really interested in putting the money and work to raise the value but I would have liked to just for a project. Doesn't seem like that is where our money will ever end up going as even doing the work myself. It is a pretty hard decision for me. After the info that has been provided here I might go for about 7K I'll definitely at least do a cleanup on it. Thanks again
  2. Hi. I have not been on this forum for a long time. Been holding onto my 69 Avanti II for about 20 years. At this point I just don't think I'm ever going to put the money into it. The car kinda has a sad story, it was my grandmother's and someone convinced her to put it in their name and that they would sell it for her. They proceeded to drive it around and someone hit it, they got a settlement, kept it, and got a questionable repair job before I was able to get it from them. Anyway, that is the story. It has 75k original miles. It needs all the stuff you would expect after mostly sitting that long but has been garaged. Brakes, steering hoses, radiator, engine probably needs a gasket refresh. I've started it up once and a while and basically how I have found the radiator issue. Of course the damage has to be considered in the value. Appreciate any help or insight on what value is left in the car. Thank you
