When Paxton was manufacturing ball drive superchargers (such as the SN-60) they recommended using their own 'in house' blower fluid...The Paxton fluid was named...........?

1) Pax-grip...........2) Pax-loc..........3) Pax-trac.....or.......4) Happy-Balls

While #4 would have been a great name (imagine the ads they could have come up with :D), I believe it was #3, Pax-trac.

Yes!...Pax-trac was the brand name!

You can  make your own that is exactly the same. Use B&M original Trick Shift, and three tablespoons of STP.

I'm a little surprised to hear that Brad....I always thought STP was TOO slippery, and would cause the drive element balls to slip and 'fry'!!

That is why only three Tspoons. The long chain molecule is what is needed. It doesn't drain off the drive element after sitting. This tech tip was told in an old newsletter in the early 70's  Perhaps by John Erb himself IIRC.
