At the Studebaker proving grounds in 1962, the difference in time at the end of the 1/4 mile between a supercharged and a non-supercharged Avanti (all else being equal) was............. seconds?

1) .8.........2) 1.2..........3) 2.0.....or....4) 2.3

I thought it was around 1 second. Didn't we just have this question??

Assuming we are talking R1 versus R2, let's err on the conservative side and say 1)  8/10s of a second. (Of course, if we gave that R2 to Ted Harbit to prep for the 1/4 mile, or if it's an R3 versus R1, this difference would be larger. :))

No, ...the other question referred to 0-60 times.

And sorry, .8 sec. is incorrect.

Hmmm..........so the other one closest to 1 second is answer number 2) --  1.2 seconds. So I'll change my answer to that!  :)

And....................a 1.2 second difference is CORRECT!
